The Center’s surgical suites are equipped with the latest state-of-the-art equipment for the care of our patients. Our Center is licensed by the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration and Certified by Medicare.
The Center’s medical staff has been trained at some of the best hospitals in the United States such as Johns Hopkins Hospital, Cornell/New York University, Mayo Clinic, Columbia University Hospital and University of Pittsburgh. Most of these hospitals were recently named by the US News and World Report as the top twenty hospitals in the United States. The surgical staff utilizes the most recent and innovative treatments: laparoscopic, minimally invasive, and laser procedures which yield less pain and expedite recovery. The medical staff provides surgery for the Hand and Upper Extremity, Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, Urologic and Erectile Dysfunction, General and Laparoscopic Surgery, Foot and Ankle Surgery, Spine Surgery, Inter-vertebral Neurosurgery and Pain Management. Our surgical staff also has privileges in various hospitals in Miami.
An additional essential component to the excellence of our results is the supervision of the Director of Anesthesia, who is a Board Certified Cardiac Anesthesiologist with over twenty years of experience in the care of critically ill patients.
The nursing personnel have over ten years of clinical and surgical experience. Additionally the nursing staff is trained and certified in providing advanced resuscitation for adults and children (ACLS/PALS). They provide a caring, friendly and efficient environment so that the patient’s experience is as pleasant as possible. The administrative personnel oversee the delivery of care and help to coordinate the patient’s stay at the center. “The Surgery Center at Doral” offers a concierge service supervised by an international coordinator that assists and manages the patient’s visit and stay in Miami. This coordinator schedules the patient’s initial office visit, hotel reservations in local hotels and post-operative visits.
